CAPÍTULO II
Art. 2º - A Bandeira do Estado de Santa Catarina, que terá a composição geral estabelecida na lei n. 975, de 23 de outubro de 1953, obedecerá, na sua feitura as seguintes normas:

  1. Para cálculo das dimensões tomar-se-á o módulo que é um segmento de reta que se toma à vontade, de acordo com o tamanho da bandeira a fazer.
  2. O comprimento será de 11(onze) módulos e a largura de 8(oito) módulos.
  3. A distância dos vértices do losango ao quadro externo será de 1(um) módulo
  4. O escudo no meio do losango, será inscrito num círculo de raio de 2 ¼ (dois e um quarto) de módulo.
  5. O cruzamento da chave, com a âncora será o centro da bandeira.
  6. Os vértices da estrela de cinco pontas tocará na circunferência cujo centro ficará 3/8 (três oitavos) de módulo acima do cruzamento da chave com a âncora e terá o raio de 1 ½ (um e meio) módulo.
  7. O ramo de café e o feixe de trigo acompanharão a circunferência descrita no § 6º.
  8. As faixas horizontais dividirão a bandeira em três partes iguais.
  9. A bandeira terá as seguintes cores:
    1. as faixas das extremidades serão encarnadas e a central branca;
    2. o losango será verde claro;
    3. no escudo, o ramo de café será verde-escuro; o feixe de trigo, a âncora e a chave serão de cor amarela; a águia será “marron”; o barrete frígio, os grãos de café e o laço de pontas flutuantes serão de cor encarnada; a estrêla, o dístico “Estado de Santa Catarina” e o escudo do peito da águia serão de cor branca; os dizeres “17 de novembro de 1889”, serão de cor preta.
