Molla Kamal Al-din Hossein Kashefi (died in 910 LH) is among famous scientists late of Timurid period. He spent the main portion of his life in Herat City and died there. The present monument is built in memory of his person by the national monuments society with engineer Ahmad Farahbakhsh's plan in 1352 AH. His monuments is constructed in three floors and compounded of porches, four-pourches, and sternum arches.

این بنا توسط انجمن آثار ملی با طرح و نقشهٔ مهندس احمد فرحبخش در سال ۱۳۵۲ ش ساخته شد. اثر مزبور ترکیبی است از ایوان‌ها، چهارطاقی‌ها و طاق‌های جناغی که در سه طبقه بنیان گردیده‌است. مولانا کمال‌الدین حسین کاشفی متوفی سال ۹۱۰ ق از فضلای نامی اواخر دوران تیموری است که بخش عمدهٔ عمر خود را در شهر هرات سپری نمود و در همانجا درگذشت.

(بەکارھێنانەوەی ئەم پەڕگەیە)		 This monument is built by national monuments society (Iranian governmental organization) in 1352 AH (i.e. 1973 AD). According to article 16 of the Iranian copyright law, since this monument belonged to a person in legal position, the author's financial rights would be valid for a period of only 30 years from the date of public presentation. This means the monument is out of copyright protection from 1382 AH (2003 AD) and I was free to take pictures of it (Please note that there is no freedom of panorama exception in the Iranian copyright law).
